The AMS Chinati Hot Springs camping weekend is open to both primary and elementary student families. To learn more about the Hot Springs check out their website at www.chinatihotsprings.com. If you would prefer one of their lovely cabins with a personal hot tub, call the CHS office for prices and reservation information: 432.229.4165

Please sign your family up in the AMS office ASAP! We need a head count as early as possible to negotiate the best group rate.

Families are responsible for their own transportation, camping gear, fees, and food. A wonderful fully equipped community kitchen and dining area is available for all campers as well as public restrooms.

Directions:
From Marfa there are two routes to the Hot Springs.
From 2810 to Pinto Canyon Road is about 50 miles to the hot springs, but is recommened for high clearance vehicles. This beautiful, rugged way, which is unpaved for about 20 miles, takes about an hour and 45 minutes.
The alternate route takes about two hours. Marfa to Presidio is 59 miles on 67 South. It is another 36 miles to Ruidosa where there are signs for the Hot Springs. About a half mile outside Ruidosa, Hot Springs Road will take you seven miles to the gate.
